Network TV and chickenz

So, we handed out candy for Halloween for the first time (definitely a change from binge drinking in an outrageous costume at OU, but honestly I didn't miss it) and our favorite costume was this little girl, probably 2 years old, literally the cutest thing I've ever seen, in a chicken costume. She was more interested in Cooper than the candy, and when her dad told her to say bye, she said, "bye doggy!". Too friggin cute.

Nope, not having kids anytime soon, thank you very much. NOOOOOOO where near soon. I still don't have that $300 Kitchen Aid stand-up mixer than I want. Fawk.

So I have come to the conclusion that Grey's Anatomy is the largest piece of shit on TV lately (compared to its first season...wtf happened?) and I've actually started to like Private Practice better. Mainly, because there is no Izzy, no George, no Mc-anyone, and no Meredith...the only decent character on the show anymore is Cristina. I think I watch Grey's just out of obligation now, and I'm even starting to feel not so obligated.

Other than that...I'm well on my way to becoming a Civil Servant (bye bye evil contracting) and thrilled about a sizeable raise and the end of BULL-SHITE. To celebrate, I drank a bottle of wine. Duh. And, I made the wise choice of not attempting cupcakes again.

We are having company this weekend, and I'm quite excited, though the house is in shambles as we haven't unpacked everything and are waiting for our new bed to be delivered (thank you overstock.com for $1.95 shipping) hopefully tomorrow. Also having friends for dinner tomorrow and I'm back at the bone-cracker beforehand so it will certainly be a fun filled couple of days. I'm tellin ya people...find a good Chiropractor.
